About Me

Family and faith are at the heart of my life. As a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I strive to live my values daily. My amazing wife and I navigate life's journey together, raising three wonderful children. Whether we're bonding over board games or sharing simple moments, quality time with them is one of my greatest joys.

From 2002 to 2004, I served a mission for the Church in Indiana—a challenging but deeply rewarding experience. Stepping out of my comfort zone taught me to love the people of Indiana and appreciate its unique culture. Although I haven't had the chance to return yet, my connection to the state remains strong, and I hope to visit again someday.

In my free time, I enjoy hobbies that keep me active, entertained, and inspired. Walking, hiking, and immersing myself in nature bring me peace, while TV shows and movies, especially science fiction, ignite my imagination. As a proud Trekkie, I’m passionate about exploring the vast universe of Star Trek. Music is another cornerstone of my life; I’m a fan of country music and an admirer of Taylor Swift's artistry. Capturing life’s moments with my iPhone, playing board games, diving into computer games, or enjoying the Nintendo Switch also bring me joy. And as a Kansas City Chiefs fan, I relish the excitement of cheering them on during the NFL season.

Living with type 1 diabetes for over 20 years has been a transformative journey. After 15 years, I began using a pump and continuous glucose monitor (CGM), which have dramatically improved my ability to manage the condition. While diabetes has its challenges, it has taught me resilience, self-care, and a deeper understanding of nutrition, shaping me into who I am today.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Web Design & Development with an emphasis in Web Design from Brigham Young University - Idaho, where I graduated in 2014. At BYU-Idaho, I was an active member of the Web Society and Photographics Society, enhancing my skills in web design and photography. Earlier, I earned an AAS in Graphic Design from Provo College in 2009 and completed general coursework at Utah Valley University from 2004 to 2007.

Professionally, I work at DentalQore, a leading digital marketing and technology company in American Fork, Utah. Specializing in innovative solutions for the dental industry, DentalQore supports practices with cutting-edge websites and digital marketing strategies. Since joining the company, I’ve advanced from Tech Support to Senior Web Developer. This role has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to lead projects, refine my skills, and contribute to impactful web development initiatives.
