Professionally, I’ve worked in front-end web development for over a decade. Most of my experience comes from working for an agency primarily focused on dental websites (and marketing) where I would turn designs into a custom website with a near 100% pixel-by-pixel of the mockup. My other experiences comes from agencies I’ve worked for or partnered with as well as running my own part-time website business.

My foundational expertise as a WordPress Developer really started taking definitive shape during my formal education years. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Web Design & Development with a specialized emphasis in Web Design from Brigham Young University – Idaho, where I was an active, engaged member of both the Web Society and the Photographics Society, helping me hone my creative visual eye right alongside my rigorous technical execution. Before that milestone, I picked up an AAS in Graphic Design from Provo College and completed foundational general coursework at Utah Valley University. That comprehensive, unique mix of aesthetic design principles and hardcore technical training still heavily shapes how I approach and execute every single site build today.

Outside of my professional life I enjoy spending time with my family whether its video games, board games, being outside and watching movies or just spending time together. Family and Faith are central to who I am.

I am a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; born and raised in Utah. While in my early adulthood I served a full-time mission, voluntarily, in the great state of Indiana. Indiana is like a second home to me. I learned to love the land and the people who live there. Many great experiences have shaped the person that I have become to this day. One day I will return to the state and hopefully meet with friends.

I have lived with Type One Diabetes for over 25 years. Managing diabetes is not easy but I have learned some tricks along my journey and have managed to take care of myself pretty good.

Every year I participate in the Breakthrough T1D Walk To Cure Diabetes event. This event is a features a walk and fun activities. I look forward to going every year. I’m a huge star trek fan and I love just about every show and movie. I also love listening to country music as well as Taylor Swift music. Yes, I’m a swiftie. I love playing games like minecraft, Civilization VI, Cities: Skylines and others. Also spending time outdoors, spending time with my family and playing sports are among my hobbies. Photography is another fun hobby I have. Even though I don't have a stand-alone camera anymore I still enjoy taking pictures with my iPhone.

It’s NFL football season and the Kansas City Chiefs are my team! My family and I love cheering on the Chiefs during the football season!
